Collection: Colors of Music
One of my greatest pleasures is listening to Henry play the piano. Sometimes I'm so moved I feel like I can almost see the music. I imagine the chords flowing in a mix of colors, taking on different shapes. As I painted this series, I loved exploring what each instrument's colors would look like. I saw the piano's as rich and expansive; the cello's bright and sharp; the guitar's as earthy and strong. I can't wait to explore the colors of the next beautiful instrument.
