I drew Marbella as a I saw it – a cute little cluster of terra cotta-tiled houses smushed into an area that used to be encircled by an Arabic castle a thousand years ago. The streets are narrow and winding and some I still have yet to discover, they're so hidden away! The Mediterranean sea is in front and its backdrop is La Concha peak (“the conch shell”) that juts up dramatically behind the city and protects it from the burning hot inland heat. All of this makes Marbella the paradise that so many come far and wide to enjoy.
